It’s Me, Hi, I’m the Photographer, It’s Me

Okay, hear me out. The universe is basically screaming at me that I’m destined to photograph and film Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. And before you roll your eyes, let me lay out my case.

1. My Name is Taylor.

Yep. That’s right. Taylor Swift, meet Taylor (me). Imagine the symmetry on the wedding day: the planner calls out, “Taylor, we need you!” and BOTH of us answer. Pure chaos? Maybe. But also, pure magic.

2. Same Birthday, Baby.

Taylor Swift and I were both born on December 13th. Do you know how rare that is? It’s like the stars aligned just so I could show up at her wedding with a camera in one hand and a tear in the other.

3. I’ve Been a Chiefs Fan Since Day One.

Not the “oh, I just started watching football in 2023 because of Taylor” type of fan. Nope. I’ve got photographic proof of myself as a literal child in a Kansas City Chiefs cheerleading outfit. Travis - if you’re reading this, just know I’ve been riding with the red and gold since before I even knew what a touchdown was.

4. I Saw Taylor Before She Was Big.

Like, OG Taylor. Guitar, curls, country roots, singing about Tim McGraw. I was there before the Eras tour sold out stadiums in 30 seconds. That basically makes me wedding photographer royalty at this point, right?

5. I’m Actually Good at What I Do.

I run a photo + film business with my husband (he’s the videographer, I’m the photographer). Together, we’re kind of a dream team. We’ve captured countless weddings where love, laughter, and let’s-be-honest-a-few-happy-tears are the stars of the show. If we can handle chaotic bridal parties, unpredictable weather, and uncles with questionable dance moves, we can definitely handle the biggest wedding of the decade.

6. I Promise Not to Fangirl (Too Much).

Look, I can’t promise there won’t be internal squealing. But I can promise that outwardly I’ll be professional, calm, and focused on making sure your memories are frozen in time in the most beautiful way possible. Pinky swear.

So there it is. The stars, the Chiefs, the music, the birthday connection, it all makes sense. Taylor & Travis, if you somehow stumble across this little corner of the internet, just know: you deserve the best… and maybe, just maybe, that’s me.
